1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use SellerThanks at sellerthanks.com. SellerThanks is operated by Brian Morris in the United Kingdom. Contact: info@sellerthanks.com.

By creating an account or starting a subscription, you agree to these terms. SellerThanks is intended for eBay sellers using it in the course of their business.

2. The service

SellerThanks sends your own messages to your eBay buyers, using the eBay account you connect: a thank-you message after they pay, a message when you dispatch their order, and a feedback reminder a chosen number of days after dispatch. It checks for new orders about every 30 minutes and sends each type of message once per order. Each message is only sent while you have it switched on in your dashboard.

We aim to keep the service running reliably but cannot guarantee that every message is sent, or sent at a particular time. eBay may change, limit or interrupt access to its systems.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content of your messages and for making sure they follow eBay's rules, including its rules on member-to-member messages and on feedback.
You must only connect an eBay account you are authorised to use.
You must keep your login details secure and tell us if you think your account has been misused.

4. Free trial and subscription

New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. No payment card is needed to start it. Each seller, and each eBay account, can have one free trial.
To continue after the trial, add a payment card from your dashboard (Add card to carry on) before the trial ends. You will not be charged until the trial has ended. If no card has been added when the trial ends, the trial simply ends, nothing is charged and messages stop.
Once a card is added, the subscription costs £4.99 per month plus VAT (£5.99 per month for UK customers at the current 20% rate) from the end of the trial, charged to your card each month until you cancel. Customers outside the UK pay local tax where it applies, as shown at checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the seller of record for SellerThanks subscriptions and handles VAT and sales tax. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment. SellerThanks never sees or stores your card details.
If a payment fails, automatic messaging may be paused until payment is made.
We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next payment after the notice period, and you may cancel before it applies.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time with Manage subscription in your dashboard. If you cancel during the free trial, or simply don't add a card, you will not be charged. If you cancel after the trial, your subscription continues until the end of the month you have paid for and is not renewed.

Refund requests are handled by Stripe, as seller of record, under its refund policy. Eligible requests are refunded automatically. You can also contact us at info@sellerthanks.com and we will help.

6. Ending or suspending accounts

We may suspend or close an account that misuses the service, breaks these terms or eBay's rules, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, SellerThanks is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost sales, profits or business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as SellerThanks develops. We will tell subscribers about significant changes by email before they take effect.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
